The Professional Association/Special Interest Group Outreach subcommittee is focused on executing a well-defined set of outreach activities, which include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Define and develop “Inner Circle” partnerships with most complementary professional organizations. Inner Circle organizations are key organizations that share common interests and/or goals with SNEC-PMI. Target list includes:
  • Microsoft Project Users Group (MPUG )
  • International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)
  • American Society for Quality (ASQ)
  • Society for Information Management (SIM)
  • Other PMI Chapters with primary focus on New England chapters and NYC
• Leverage ”Inner Circle” to promote benefits of SNEC-PMI membership and PMP certification. Initiate and facilitate benchmarking with other organizations. Examples of targeted activities include
  • Attending and/or presenting at Inner Circle professional meetings
  • Inviting select members of Inner Circle organizations to SNEC events
  • Inviting Inner Circle representatives to present at SNEC sponsored events
• Identify and promote networking, education and professional development with select CT Professional Association groups
