At the January 16, 2008 SNEC-PMI dinner meeting the membership near unanimously approved the proposed revised chapter bylaws.  With this important bylaws change our chapter is now much better positioned to address future requirements.

I'd like to thanks the Board of Directors and committee volunteers for their efforts, and the membership for their support!

The next steps in our restructuring effort will be to establish our four portfolio areas and to determine what non-elected leadership positions will be needed in each area.  Our nominating committee will also soon be active in determining a slate of candidates for our upcoming board member election.

Lots of changes - I hope you will all get involved with our chapter and find a position where your skills and goals converge!  Stay tuned for further updates.
