SNEC is pleased and excited to offer a PMP Exam Preparation course in Springfield, MA.
The 5-day intensive course based on the PMBOK 4th Edition will run every Saturday from May 15 until June 19, 2010 (no class on Memorial weekend 5/29) from 9am until 5pm at Western New England College, 1215 Wilbraham Road, Springfield, MA 01119.
A training material binder, PMBOK 4th Edition, and Rita Mulcahy PMP® Exam Prep – Sixth Edition will be provided along with a continental breakfast, break beverages & snacks and a luncheon.
The total course training contact time is 35 hours, which is one of the requirements to take the PMP exam. You should review the PMP eligibility requirements at http://www.pmi.org/PDF/PDC_PMPHandbook.pdf

Directions to New England College:
From the East and West (Boston, Albany) via the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90):
Leave the Mass. Pike at Exit 6. Turn left onto I-291. Take Exit 5 off I-291 ("Route 20-A West to East Springfield"). Bear right at the end of the exit ramp on Page Blvd. Take the left at the first light onto Roosevelt Ave. Take Roosevelt Avenue 2.5 miles to the intersection with Wilbraham Road (fifth traffic light). Turn left onto Wilbraham Road and follow it 1.5 miles through the second light. Turn right into the parking lot of the Welcome Center. (Total 5.6 miles from Mass. Pike.)
From the North via Interstate 91:
Leave I-91 at Exit 8, ("Ludlow, Boston 1-291"). Travel to Exit 5B, ("East Springfield"). Turn right off of the ramp onto Page Blvd. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Roosevelt Ave. Take Roosevelt Avenue 2.5 miles to the intersection with Wilbraham Road (fifth traffic light). Turn left onto to Wilbraham Road and follow it 1.5 miles through the second light. Turn right into the parking lot of the Welcome Center. (Total 8.6 miles from I-91)
From the South via Interstate 91:
Leave I-91 at Exit 2 ("East Longmeadow"). Follow signs ("Route 83") to the light at the intersection of Longhill and Sumner Ave. Turn right onto Sumner Ave. Travel straight on Sumner Ave. (which becomes Allen St.) to the traffic light at the intersection of Allen St. and Bradley Road (3.2 miles). Turn left onto Bradley Road and travel 1.6 miles to Wilbraham Rd. and turn right. Travel 0.2 miles and turn right, into the parking lot of the Welcome Center. (Total 5.7 miles from I-91.)

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY: If the event is canceled by SNEC-PMI for any reason, the registrants will have the ability to re-register for the next scheduled PMP Exam Preparation course or to receive a full refund. If the event is canceled, registered participants will be notified of the cancellation via an email broadcast.
No refunds for user requested cancellations. Credit toward a future SNEC-PMI PMP Exam Prep course will be provided if cancellation is received by the registration deadline. WEATHER-RELATED CANCELLATION POLICY: In the event that inclement weather is forecast for the day of the course, a cancellation decision will be made by 7:00 AM that day. If the event is canceled, registered participants will be notified of the cancellation via an email broadcast. We will also endeavor to get meeting cancellation notices broadcast by local media. Notification of the re–scheduled event will also be communicated via an email broadcast.
