Norm Prevost, PMP
President / CEO
Norm has over 15 year’s successful project management experience for business and technology initiatives. Norm has been with The United Illuminating Company since 1998. Currently as the Manager of Project Management Process and Standards for UI’s Center of Project Excellence. His prior experience includes project management and IT architecture at Bristol Myers Squibb and Cowles Business Media.
Norm holds the Project Management Professional designation . Norm has been involved with SNEC since 2004 serving as Treasurer until 2008 when he served as Vice President and COO until 2010. Norm has served as Past President and Treasurer for several sports leagues and charity groups in Connecticut.

Gina Lumia, PMP
Vice President and COO
Gina has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry in various roles from development to project lead, project manager, and director of portfolio/project management. She is currently employed at Travelers as Sr. Director - Portfolio/Program Management working in a data warehouse group. She has a team of project managers whose focus is project delivery in a complex environment. Gina has been a Sr. Director - Portfolio/Program Management with Travelers since 2006 and one of her primary goals has been to define and implement project management best practices in her area. Her prior experience includes project and program management at Hartford Life and The Hartford, as well as many other companies as a consultant.
Gina has been an active member of the chapter for several years working with Programs, Education, and Membership. She was instrumental in the development and rollout of the SNEC PMI Mentoring program. She has been the Director of Professional Development for the past three years.

Fred Johnson, PMP
Chief Financial Officer
Fred has over 16 years of successful engineering management
experience for aerospace technology initiatives as a Project Manager
with United Technologies Corporation. Fred has worked as a Project
Manager at Sikorsky Aircraft, and he currently works at Pratt &
Whitney where he leads team efforts within the Product Strategy
organization.
Fred has expertise in team building, project planning, problem
resolution, earned value management, and strategic technology
solutions. Fred has served as Director of Operations, and the Corporate Secretary of SNEC-PMI. Fred has also served as a
volunteer for SNEC-PMI. His volunteer activities include the annual
SNEC-PMI PM Conference, Project Manager for the SNEC elections, and he was also the Project
Manager for the SNEC-PMI Restructuring Committee that has allowed the SNEC chapter to
optimize its leadership structure.
Fred holds the Project Management Professional designation, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical
Engineering from Rutgers University, and a Master of Science in Technology Management from
the University of Bridgeport. He is currently completing his Masters of Business Administration
degree at Northeastern University.

Darwyn Azzinaro, PMP
Past President
Darwyn Azzinaro has been a PMI member since 1997, a PMP since 1999 and on the SNEC Board of Directors since 2002 (Treasurer, Director of Education, Director of Communications and President). He is also a certified OPM3 Assessor and Consultant. He has a passion for volunteer leadership and actively contributes to the project management profession. Additionally, he is an experienced project manager and instructor.
Darwyn has a record of solid accomplishments with the SNEC-PMI Chapter and PMI. He established and chaired the SNEC Strategic Planning Committee which introduced the organization to strategic and operational planning and budgeting. Also, he created and chaired the SNEC Education Committee and Communication Committee, and was chair of the SNEC Project Management Conference Committee which delivered SNEC’s first conference. Additionally, he was part of PMI’s Portfolio and Program Management and OPM3, Second Edition standard development teams.
Darwyn is currently a principle consultant and partner at PM Evolution. Darwyn’s previous positions include Project Management consultant and InSource, Sr. Project Manager at Aetna and Sr. Project Manager with Siemens Business Services.

Craig Radocy, PMP Craig is a multi-disciplined project manager, change agent, and process improvement business leader with over 15 years of increasing management responsibilities. Craig is currently with The Hartford as an Assistant Director and has also served as a Senior Project Manager since 2004. His prior experience includes Engineering Services Competency Manager at United Illuminating, Director of Operations for Avexxis Corporation, a Partner of Control Solutions New England, and a Project Manger for ABB. Craig holds the Project Management Professional designation, Master of Science on Operations Management from RPI, and a BSEE from UCONN.
Craig has been a SNEC-PMI Board Member since 2006, created the "Benefit of Membership" charter, presented at PMI Global Leadership conference, participated in the creation of the SNEC-PMI Board of Directors Handbook, manned the SNEC-PMI booth at the Connecticut EXPO center, presented “Best Practices in Communications Planning” with Annelise Dadras at a monthly meeting, and spearheaded PMP study group formation at The Hartford. He enjoys fly fishing, skiing, basketball, and most sporting activities.

Lynn Van Sweden, PMP
Lynn has over 17 years successful project and program management experience for business and technology initiatives, including defining and implementing best practices. She is currently involved in project management at United Illuminating. Her prior experience includes project and program management at GE, Diageo, Coca-Cola, Northrop Grumman, and Millennium Chemicals as well as for non-profit organizations in a volunteer capacity.
She has been a member of SNEC-PMI for 3 years and has served as a SNEC-PMI Board member leading the Marketing Portfolio for the past two years. In this role she has facilitated speed-networking sessions, re-designed our sponsorship approach, supported enhanced Career Day events as a response to member needs, enhanced our branding presence and supported our Outreach efforts. Lynn was also involved with SNEC-PMI’s effort to reorganize the board structure and by-laws update.

Mark R. Rasmussen, PMP
Mark has over 30 years of successful Global Program and Project Management experience in both Business and Information Technology.
He currently works for Health Net in Shelton, CT in an Information Technology Program Manager role. He has worked for CIGNA, Aetna, ACNielsen, Dun & Bradstreet, NCR Comten and Bunker Ramo during his professional career. He has built a Global IT Program Management Office (PMO) and has managed large complex Programs.
Mark has also been involved and held leadership positions in several community activities such as Relay for Life, Special Olympics, and Pom Pon, cheerleading & soccer parent clubs.
Mark has an A.S. in Data Processing from Waterbury State Technical College, a B.S. Computer Science / Information Systems from Quinnipiac College, and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and has been a member in good standing of PMI SNEC since 2001.
Mark has been involved in the PMI SNEC Programs Committee where he was the project manager for several meetings. He also launched the first PMO Local Interest Group (LIG) for the Westchester Chapter of PMI. He joined the SNEC Professional Development portfolio as the VP of Continuing Education and led the Committee to set up the first PMP Exam Preparation course.

Anthony Falsetta, PMP
Anthony has served as SNEC VP of Continuing Education where he led the team responsible for providing educational and training offerings such as the SNEC PMP Exam prep course. For 2010, Anthony and the team rolled out a successful offering in Fairfield, CT and have scheduled courses both in Springfield, MA and Hamden, CT.
Anthony has over 10 years of successful project management working in the Information Technology area and has been supporting financial systems projects for United Rentals since 2000. At United Rentals, he has managed software implementations, upgrades, customizations and enhancements. Anthony is currently serving as project manager on a large-scale financial software upgrade and migration project.
Anthony holds the Project Management Professional designation and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

Wayne Botha, PMP
Wayne has ten years experience managing eCommerce IT projects and production software release programs. He joined SNEC in 2005 and served as VP of membership as well as Director of Marketing.
Wayne’s formal education includes a B.Sc majoring in Psychology and Information Systems and an MBA in E-Business. Wayne has trained students in Saudi Arabia and managed IT projects in both South Africa and the USA. As a professional coach Wayne develops project managers to reach new levels of professional and personal effectiveness.
In his current role as Enterprise Release Manager for CIGNA, Wayne manages release programs for Enterprise-wide project deployments to CIGNA's production IT systems. Prior project management roles include managing eCommerce Projects and network implementations.
Wayne is a past faculty member at Axia College where he facilitated project management courses. Wayne is a faculty at Toastmasters Leadership Institute, teaching leadership skills to Toastmaster club officers. Wayne is a published author and public speaker.

Robert Boshka, PMP
Robert has over 20 years of experience in Engineering, Information Technology and Project/Program Management and has been a member of PMI and SNEC since 1999, a PMP since 2002 and has been actively involved in the SNEC Programs Committee since its inception. Robert has contributed to the chapter in many ways.
Robert is the Founder and Managing Director of True-Gain, LLC; a professional services firm helping organizations develop strategy, identify business solutions and deliver sustainable results that provide true benefit. Robert is responsible for sales, marketing, technical services, customer support, employee training, business development and strategic alliances. Prior to founding True-Gain, Robert held senior executive positions for Information Technology System Integration organizations, NSI and Innovative Information Solutions and as a senior project manager at The Allied Group, providing information technology and process solutions to client’s business challenges.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the Bridgeport Engineering Institute, now Fairfield University. Robert also has achieved Lean Enterprise and Six Sigma Black Belt certifications. Robert serves on the Executive Committee of the Fairfield/Westchester Chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM).

Carin Salonia, PMP
Carin Salonia has been a PMI member and PMP since 2003 and on the SNEC Board of Directors since 2009. She has been actively involved in the SNEC Conference Committee and Membership/Volunteers over the past three years. Carin supported both the 2010 Elections and Volunteer Appreciation and Recognition Event held in June 2009. Carin is responsible for Board leadership for Membership, Volunteers, and Leadership Development and Succession Planning.
Carin has over 18 years in program and project management for both business and technology initiatives with over nine years in IT consulting. She has implemented process changes and managed medium and large on-and-offshore development teams for the CT Department of Public Health, Department of Children’s and Families, Mohegan Sun, CT Hospital Bioterrorism Preparedness, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Terrorism Preparedness. Over the last five years Carin has led enterprise wide business related projects in Financial Outlooking, Forecasting and Reporting at The Hartford.
Carin is Assistant Vice President at The Hartford in Internal Audit Consulting. She holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Behavior, Bachelors of Science, is PMP Certified and is a Six Sigma greenbelt. Carin enjoys mountain biking, duathalons and sprint triathlons, volunteering in Junior Achievement and community fund raising programs such as the United Way and a local Library expansion project. She lives in Avon with her husband, mother in-law and three children. .
