Elections for the 2008 - 2009 Board of Directors are now Open!
The time of year is here again to elect the Board of Directors of our SNEC Chapter for the 2008-2009 term. Elections are being held beginning Monday, April 28th, and closing at midnight on Sunday, May 11th.
If you are a chapter member of record for SNEC-PMI as of April 28th, you have been sent an email with instructions on how to vote. Please take a few minutes to read the email and vote for the candidates of your choice.
If you haven't received an email at the email address you have on file with PMI, please:
- Check to see if the email was caught by any SPAM filters you may have in place. The email was sent between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM EST on 4/28.
- If you still can't find it, please send an email to

- Your name and PMI #
- An alternate email address (if possible)
- We will send you another invitation to vote.
The new officers will be announced at the May Chapter Meeting on Wednesday, May 16th, 2008, and begin their term of office on June 1st, 2008.

Register today for the best cabin upgrades! Registration will open to the entire PMI community on September 1st, 2007. With approximately 10,000 PMI members in the CT/NY/NJ area we expect the 100 cabins to sell out quickly.

SNEC Membership Approves Bylaws Revision |

At the January 16, 2008 SNEC-PMI dinner meeting the membership near unanimously approved the proposed revised chapter bylaws. With this important bylaws change our chapter is now much better positioned to address future requirements.
I'd like to thanks the Board of Directors and committee volunteers for their efforts, and the membership for their support!
The next steps in our restructuring effort will be to establish our four portfolio areas and to determine what non-elected leadership positions will be needed in each area. Our nominating committee will also soon be active in determining a slate of candidates for our upcoming board member election.
Lots of changes - I hope you will all get involved with our chapter and find a position where your skills and goals converge! Stay tuned for further updates.
