PMBOK EDUCATIONAL SERIES
As part of the SNEC-PMI survey we asked our membership what additional educational offerings they would like to see. You responded looking for lower cost educational events on project management topics and we listened.
The SNEC-PMI Continuing Education Committee is proud to present The PMBOK® Educational series, concentrating on topics from the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) Guide.
This series will begin in the fall, with the date to be announced later this summer. One of the first sessions will cover Integrated Procurement Management, in a three-hour instructor-led educational course that will help address if, when and how to best draw on one or more suppliers in strategic areas of a project as a tool to help manage project cost, schedule, scope and/or risk. Coverage will include how to leverage insights from the PMBOK Integrated Procurement Management Process Group and tap into the vast supplier base to help bring projects in on time, within budget and in scope.
Attendees will learn about Quality Assurance and Quality Control provisions to help impose proper Quality considerations through the SOW and requirements flow-down, and work through aspects of selecting the most appropriate contract type to get the best value, and/or mitigate project risks. This practical seminar will provide approaches and tools to help guide you through Supplier Management from the Planning phase of your project, all the way through Closing.
You will receive three PDUs to attend each session - and pricing is $50 for SNEC members; $60 for non-SNEC members. This is quality instruction at an affordable rate, so watch your email and this site for dates and details on the new SNEC’s PMBOK® Educational Series, starting this fall!
