James Hill has over 25 years of Program Management and Development Engineering experience on multi-million dollar Advanced Technology Programs for Fortune 500 companies. As a PMP, Mr. Hill has developed client-specific courseware and provides training to staff and customer communities in the areas of Project and Program Management, as well as PMP and CAPM test preparation courses. Leveraging his hands-on, real-world experience, James is known for his lively and engaging delivery of instructor-led training, and has received numerous accolades from students and university staff for making course materials memorable and useable.

Charles is currently employed as the Strategy & Risk Manager for The United Illuminating Company, an electric distribution utility. He has over 20 years of experience in project management in a variety of business environments. During his career, he has developed and implemented project management capability improvement initiatives, led PM training & mentoring, and managed projects at all levels of the organization. Charles is a certified PM trainer and regularly teaches a variety of project management classes.
In addition to his certification as a PMP, Charles is a member of the PMI Leadership Institute Class of ’05 and is a Certified Business Continuity Professional. He holds a Mastery Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Okrent has been a practicing Project Manager since 1990, working in a variety of industries with Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, and Yale University. In addition, he is an adjunct lecturer in the MBA programs at Southern Connecticut State University, Fairfield University and the University of Bridgeport on a variety of topics including Management Process, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship and Project Management. Prior to becoming a Project Manager he was an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Quality Consultant with Hewlett Packard. Dr. Okrent also holds certifications in the following areas: Supply Chain Management(CSCP), Production and Inventory Control (CPIM) and Integrated Resource Management (CIRM)from APICS; Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence(CQM), Quality Engineer (CQE), and Quality Auditor (CQA) from ASQ; Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI. His education includes: Doctor of Science in Management Systems, University of New Haven, 2001, MBA, University of New Haven, 1981 and BS Industrial Engineering, Northeastern University, 1974.
Publication areas include topics on ERP, Project Management, Quality and Lean Six Sigma. He also reviews articles for the Project Management Journal.

Joe is a project management professional, certified by the Project Management Institute with a Quality Assurance Certification and Systems Analysis background, also certified as a JAD facilitator with extensive project management and training experience.
Joe holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Mgmt from GW University and has become ITIL Foundation certified while also researching Lean principles as they apply to software development.
Joe has conducted several PMP study groups and taught undergraduate Project management class as an adjunct professor at Western New England College. |
