Here at Southern New England Chapter - Project Management Institute (SNEC-PMI) we value the partnership developed by working closely with those who sponsor our events. Many of the recent organization changes have promise for strengthened partnerships between the Southern New England Chapter of the Project Management Institute and our partners, sponsors and exhibitors. We are listening to your suggestions and have made improvements in how the SNEC-PMI interacts with you throughout the year. We are pleased to announce:

• For the convenience of our sponsors to have a consistent contact that will be available during regular business hours, SNEC-PMI has brought on a company to work with you. RVS Commerce Connection will be reaching out to past sponsors over the next few weeks to understand how we can best partner with you and assist you with identifying your best sponsorship opportunities that work for your business.
• We are continuing to offer an annual approach to sponsoring events and advertising with SNEC-PMI. With a few tweaks to our simplified view of all SNEC-PMI sponsorship opportunities and costs spanning advertising, business meeting sponsorship including chapter meetings, conferences and special events occurring through out the year. This will allow for sponsors to plan annually what SNEC-PMI advertising or events they are interested in using with a discount feature.

2011 Sponsorship and Advertising Opportunities

SNEC-PMI offers to our sponsors an opportunity to maximize their advertising dollars. The Project Management Institute (PMI), with members in 135 countries, is the world’s foremost authority for the project management professional. PMI sets industry standards, conducts research, and provides education, certification, and professional exchange opportunities, designed to strengthen and further establish the profession. The Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification program supports the global community of project management practitioners and is designed to objectively assess and measure professional knowledge. Proudly, the Southern New England Chapter serving Connecticut and Western Massachusetts was established in 1983 and currently has a membership numbering more than 1,600 with over half being PMP certified. Chapter members represent nearly 400 unique companies across the globe.

Advertising opportunities for your product or service can take many forms at SNEC-PMI:

• SNEC-PMI Monthly Newsletter printed and mailed to the membership monthly
• Website including hyperlink buttons to your home page or a landing page specifically built to receive SNEC-PMI members. Advertisements will appear on multiple pages on the Website most often visited by the members
• Email distribution from SNEC-PMI containing your advertising copy and hyperlinks distributed to the members
• Event communication and handouts for the annual conference, breakfast meetings, dinner meetings (including Chapter meeting) and special events
• Attend a SNEC-PMI event and set up a display only limited to imagination. Interact with attendees throughout the event
• Address a SNEC-PMI event and share information

RVS Commence Connection will also be available to answer questions and share the cost and discount schedule.

 

Sixth Annual Project Management Conference

The Sixth Annual Project Management Conference, The Passion and Power of Project Management, will be held at the Connecticut Convention Center in downtown Hartford on Thursday, April 28 and Friday, April 29, 2011. The first day will have “hands on” Project Management workshops. SNEC-PMI is inviting you to participate in our full day event on April 29, 2011.

As in the past, we offer individual display areas at the event where Sponsors/Exhibitors can interact with attendees throughout the day. This is a great opportunity for you to reach out to a diverse group of professionals and demonstrate your contribution to the discipline of Project Management.

Chapter Meetings

SNEC-PMI offers to members and non-members a Chapter Dinner meeting once a month for ten months of the year. This event includes educational sessions for members to receive Professional Development Units (PDU’s), networking session, and dinner. These meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month from September through June.

Newsletter Advertising

SNEC-PMI provides to their members a newsletter on a monthly basis. We offer the opportunity for sponsors to place ads in the newsletter, which reaches over 1,600 members working in 400 different businesses.

SNEC-PMI offers six buttons on our home page that can hold your company’s logo/advertisement and a link to your web site. As our 1,600 members and the general PM population view our website throughout the month, they would see the your logo displayed and have opportunity to click through.

SNEC-PMI offers e-blast opportunities to our sponsors. The e-blast is an email dedicated to your company that we send out to our over 1,600 members.
